Eurodekor melamine faced chipboard (in accordance with EN14322) consists of raw chipboard that is covered with decorative paper on both sides.

EGGER Eurodekor MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) is constructed from a decorative paper covering a chipboard core. This pre-bonded finished material only requires to be edged; further fabrication is not necessary.
MFC is the ideal material for a wide range of horizontal and vertical applications, including paneling, cabinets, desks, and wardrobes. We provide MFC in three different grades:
Furniture Grade (P2)
Moisture Resistant (P3)
Flammex (Euroclass B according to EN 13501-1)
Our standard MFC is available in board format 2800 x 2070 mm with the following thicknesses: 8mm, 12mm, 15mm, 16mm, 18mm, 19mm, 22mm, 25mm, 28mm, 30mm, 38mm.

Yes, EGGER wood-based products are particularly well suited to interior wall paneling applications due to their durability and suitability.
For such applications, we recommend a minimum board thickness of 8mm. Before commencing panel installation, the walls and substructure should be completely dry. Always allow for adequate air circulation behind the panels. The material should not be exposed to trapped moisture.
